In the strips there is very little to go on. Drizzle has her long eyelashes. Tater not having long eyelashes could simply be indicative of being juvenile. An earlier strip had Driz’ inviting Tater to a “sleep over”- which to my mind is a rather ‘girlish’ activity.
Really my only solid clue is Drizzle’s comment “He’s a diligent little guy” below this strip.
Yay for journaling! I’m working on two projects involving fictional characters’ journals.
I’m curious whether Tater has any friends who are human, or whoever else lives around here who can’t fly. Would he ever talk about his struggle to learn with them?
Maybe he should try a Potato Gun…
Ridge soaring! I imagine dragons enjoy that quite a lot.
Aww… He’s trying so hard. You can do it, don’t give up!
At least she seems to be staying away from high cliffs and tall buildings.

gotteworkonthatdarnedattentiontodetailstuffagan.

The truth is, dragons play fast and loose with gender – because they can!
LOL! I think I am going to have to quote you with that at some point.
Please do >^..^<
Oh Tater…I feel so bad for him. Maybe he should try extending his wings with tarp or something like in How to Train Your Dragon.
Maybe with a taller stool.
Awww, poor Tater. Good that he keeps trying, though!
